This is a casual game jam celebrating versus games and games that pit players against one another.  Any format of game that is postable on itch is viable for the Jam (video game, tabletop game, card game etc).

The rules for submission to the jam are fairly simple:

1. The game submitted must feature a versus multiplayer mode
2. The game must be made within the time limit

For the sake of the game jam, "versus" is defined as a mode in which two or more players compete against each other and are able to interact directly with one another.  For example, players playing Tetris simultaneously competing for a high score would not be versus, however Battle Tetris where players are able to send each other lines would be.

Additionally, feel free to use any assets you have access to when creating your entry.  This jam is meant to be an exploration of game design more than anything else.
