The Pink Platformer Jam is back, with more friendly rules and MORE TIME! This is the fifth Pink Platformer Jam. After the Pink Platformer Jam #4, where the rules of the game jam were very strict, this game jam doesn't have so strict rules. This event will give you 14 days to create a game for the theme. It will run from 16 Oct 2024, 02:00:00 PM CEST to 30 Oct 2024, 02:00:00 PM CEST.

RULES

  • The game must be a platformer game.
  • The game must be published on itch.io as a HTML5 game.
  • The game must follow the theme.
  • The game must include the pink color. You can use lighter and darker shades of the pink color.
    • Using pink background, pink buttons or even pink text is enough.
    • You can use also another colors, but the game must include the pink color.
  • The game must be created within the submission period.
  • The game must not be updated during the voting period.
  • The theme will be announced at the start of the game jam using a YouTube video.
  • Vote for vote is forbidden
    • VOTE FOR VOTE MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR GAME AND/OR BAN IN THE COMMUNITY.
  • You can use any frameworks and game engines you have legal right to use (credit properly).
  • You can use pre-made assets or code you have legal right to use (credit properly).
    • DON'T USE PRE-MADE ASSETS OR CODE MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR THIS GAME JAM.
    • Don't re-use an existing game with minimal changes.
    • Don't re-use an existing game with only graphics and/or audio changes.
    • Don't submit a pre-made game made specifically for this jam.
  • Games will be submitted here through itch.io, and optionally on other sites.
  • Maximum number of team members allowed is 4.
  • All text must be in English.
    • The game may include a setting for switching languages, but the default language must be English.
    • If you found a game without an English version, feel free to report it.
  • Violation of these rules may result in DISQUALIFICATION of your game.
