For Once, a Brand New Game Jam shall be hosted named "Gradient Game Jam" (GGJ) .
I Shall Welcome All The Developers From Different Skill Levels And User Of Different Game Engines To This Game Jam! If you were to be making your very first game or your completely new, then it's shall be just fine as GGJ is a non-pressure, non-competitive Jam for everybody without having to feel judged or left out: Everybody in the end is A WINNER
GGJ wants to be apart of the other already-existing game Jams despite being brand new made by somebody who never made a game Jam before! It's made for everybody to have fun with experiencing around with a color scheme they've mabye never even used before or mabye tried out a theme they find intriguing. GGJ shall be apart of it. This Jam also doesn't include any strict entry rules as there's always some colors that people like you perhaps wanna challenge themselves with!! What will you create?

The Rules of this shall be:
• Use only 1 Color Scheme!
-Collect 5 of any Colors that you'd like to use and there you have it: A Color Scheme! Or to say...a Gradient ^^
-You can also use Coolors.co to generate a color scheme for you :)
• Backgrounds & Illustrations are NOT limited!
-You can use as many Bgs and Illustrations that you believe you need for your amazing game
• Backrgounds & Illustrations HAVE to be the same color scheme that you use!
-Whether if it's characters, icons or the background: it's colors have to be the one from your Gradient or else this Game Jam would've been useless ;p
• For the Visual Novels Creators: Only 2,000 Words!
-Why 2,000? I've seen by a Specific Game Jam that there were only 1,000 words allowed. Which why did decided to spice it up to 2,000 for the ones who let their creativity with words let out with some more thousand words :3
There shall be no restrictions about:
•THEMES/GENRES (e.g. Horror, Romance, Simulator etc.)
•Suggestive/explicit or even violent content (as long as it's tagged APPROPRIATELY on the games page)
•Using Creative Commons, similarly licensed free-to-use or paid assets. Incase if you can not find anything that has the same color scheme as you, there's an allowance for using the ones who a SIMILAR color to your Gradient otherwise...I'm sorry for you :(
•Usage of solid color backgrounds
•Programming & Scripting Effects, it's cool!
•Minigames: It's extra Cool!
•Special Effects/ Movements/ Zoom/ Animation
•Custom Gui assets like buttons, text boxes etc. are perchance needed based of your Gradient!
•Submitting your entry to other Jams (follow the rules of those Jams too!!)
•Language your game will be in, doesn't matter which language/s atleast keep it at 2,000 words!
•Omake/Fandics & Fangames are always Welcome here unless if you don't own the IP, please don't steal assets from the source material.
What shall be NOT used:
•Submitting partials works like demo, Part 1 etc. Self-contained prologues are just fine!
•Submitting unfinished works/placeholder pages for future uploads
•Submitting entries that promote Bigotry as well hateful conduct, or otherwise are made in bad faith
•Using non-GUI assets (sprites, audio etc.) From a larger project of yours
•Using illegal assets that were stolen/pirated or you don't have a proper license for) it's tempting, I know but please don't for the sake of your gorgeous entry
Entries that do not follow the rules, also are ai generated, will be immediately removed from the Jam. I may not be able to check if the game includes ai, but that doesn't mean that you can still use it! Unless, ai-generated assets are only allowed if you own the training data (e.g. Photoshop's content-aware fill etc.) Systems which the training data aren't owned by the dev (ChagGPT etc.) Aren't allowed. You can try and find a diffrent game Jam that can be about ai or allows it, but not here unless you own the training data! Remember that ^_^

•You can always take inspiration from other but if you take heavly inspo, credit the person you took it from atleast!
•Always credit whatever asset you used (unless you own a proper license for it, still include in the description of your games page that you have a proper license for it if you do!)

•If you're feeling extra silly...adding in the Mascot as a small VERY small Easter egg is something that you can also do! (The mascots Gradient & color of outfit is allowed to be changed just do not change any specific details like the rose on the hat or adding any limbs to the Creature but once again: it's optional you don't have to! :3
...otherwise..HAVE FUN!! ....do I know how to change the backgound or make this page look more interesting despite not owning a pc like everybody else? No please spare me the mercy.
